The Citizens of Florence

The Florentines were mostly Christian and religion was a very big part of their lives. The main language spoken in Florence is Italian, and the commoners worked hard to make ends meet. Florence's population consisted of futuristic thinkers, sculptors, artists, writers, and architects. There were also merchants, nobles, people of the church, doctors, masons, chroniclers, heralds, and knights. The Florentines are known for banking and commerce, as well as art and literature. These people all helped to make the system of Florence run smoothly, as it couldn't exist without people.
