The participants will incorporate components of HCPS, learning activities, and culminating task and evaluation. 1.Basic operations and concepts 2.Social, ethical, and human issues 3.Technology productivity tools It will also support the Standards Implementation Design of their school. |

The participants will create a unit plan that will be incorporated into their classroom. The lesson will include technology resources of professionally developed lesson plans, classroom activities, and materials that help with daily classroom planning. The lesson will include multimedia resources. |

The participants will use the DOE's approved technology program and technology as a tool to create their unit plan. They will use their knowledge and experience they have with HCPS, Internet searching, multimedia / video design and will develop the unit plan. The participants will be using their curriculum as a guide in the creation of their lesson plan. |

The participants in their school will serve as a support group and the school's trainer and curriculum committee will be available for assistance. The participants will log in their journal experiences and learning. This will allow them time to enhance or improve their lesson. |

The participants will integrate the standard based unit plan with their students and will include inquiry based activities for their students. The facilitator, or trainer, will assist as needed. |

Collaboration among school participants will be encouraged as they implement their unit plan. The participants will design their lesson using their curriculum as a guide, so it will be appropriately integrated into the classroom. |

The unit plan incorporates HCPS that will be integrated into the classroom using the curriculum as their guide. It will also support the school's SID, Standards Implementation Design. |

The participant will submit a portfolio to their sponsor / (principal) that includes samples of students' work, assessment tools and a journal reflecting on concerns, how they met their challenges, what they have learned, what were the successes, and suggestions in improving their lesson. |

All participants will develop a Learning Portfolio documenting their learning process and implementation of their lesson plan.
