WHAT ARE SOME COSTS AND SERVICES?

 

SUPPLIES: Students are required to provide some school supplies. It is best to pick up a list of required supplies from the office if you have not received one through your child.

 

MEALS: Well-balanced meals are served at a minimum cost of $0.75, extra milk $0.25, and juice at first recess $0.25. Adult lunch is $2.50. Breakfast is available at the cost of $0.35. Adult breakfast is $4.00. Free or reduced meals will be provided to students who qualify. Please notify the school office if you have not received information on Free or reduced meals through your child. Home lunch can also be eaten in the cafeteria. At lunch, we will substitute juice for milk only when a note from a doctor is received. A note from a doctor must be submitted yearly to continue the substitution of juice for milk. If your child forgets or loses his/her money, he/she may borrow from the school office. Loans should be repaid on the following day.

Students in Grades 4-6 serve as cafeteria monitors as a service to the school. Free lunches are provided for such students. Approximately ten hours per year is required, and students assisting in the cafeteria make up classroom assignments.

 

FIELD TRIPS: Fees for field trips vary according to destination, transportation services, and if any, admission fee. Payments should be returned in a sealed envelope with your child's name, room number, purpose stated on the front, and exact amount in cash. Footwear is required on field trip days.
