Nuʻuanu School, established in 1960, is a serene elementary school in Honolulu's Nuʻuanu Valley. Its redwood classrooms blend with the surrounding natural beauty, fostering a peaceful learning atmosphere. Nuʻuanu School emphasizes a growth mindset, prioritizing social and emotional development alongside academic achievement. Teachers cultivate confidence, independence, kindness, and a love of learning in every student. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum including core subjects, STEM, physical education, Computer Science, Hawaiian Studies, and an English Learners program. Extracurricular activities like Student Council, Peer Mediation, Robotics, and after-school programs enrich the student experience.
